Doggett specifically formulates all products in their XL line for the professional arborist. All XL products have a high U.F. content, which allows particles to remain suspended instead of being dissolved immediately. Because of this content, these products should only be used in sprayers with good agitation in order to avoid damage to the equipment.
Over 59% of the nitrogen in Doggett's 32-7-7 is from Nitroform®, a unique non-leaching ureaform fertilizer. This product releases its nitrogen reserves gradually, over the entire growing season. Bacteria convert the most soluble portion of the nitrogen so that 1/3 is released in the first 3 to 5 weeks, the balance over 6 to 12 months. Therefore, any not released in a certain year can carry forward to the next season.
