Originally established as Canadian Forestry Equipment (CFE), our roots were firmly in the forestry industry before expanding into arboriculture, mineral exploration, and environmental engineering. Over the decades we have evolved in name and structure, but our focus has remained unchanged: supporting specialized industries with expert guidance and equipment that performs when it matters most. In 2002, CFE was acquired by Commercial Solutions, and in 2010 the Ontario branch was sold and re-established as Universal Field Supplies, The Arborist Store - an independently owned and operated Canadian company dedicated to serving professional arborists and related trades.

While the name The Arborist Store has been in use since 2010, our team brings more than 50 years of combined industry experience to every interaction. We specialize in arborist equipment, tree climbing gear, rope access systems, forestry tools, and PPE, offering a carefully curated selection chosen for durability, safety, and field performance.
