The Petzl Paw Rigging Plate is for organizing a belay and creating a multiple-anchor system. It is useful in aid climbing, and also for setting up Tyrolean traverses. It is lightweight and durable, as it is made of aluminum. It comes in three sizes:
- Small: has 19 mm holes allows the locking sleeves of most carabiners to pass through. Breaking strength: 36 kN
- Medium: Minimum breaking strength of 8,000 pounds or 35kN
- Large: Minimum breaking strength is 10,000 pounds or 45kN
