When you name your product “Protector Prime”, it had better live up to its name. The folks over at HAIX know this and have included features that will make this a favorite among arborists and forestry professionals alike.
One key area of focus for the boot is the comfort of the wearer. The inner liner of the boot will never pull out or wrinkle, as HAIX secures and seals it with the upper leather beneath the sole. An ankle lace lock allows independent lace adjustment between the upper and lower boot. Vent holes at the top of the boot release moist air and allows fresh air to enter.
Of course, a comfortable boot also must have outstanding protection. The boot has CSA-Z195-2009 protection against cuts and a steel protective toe cap. The boot has a four-layer GORE-TEX moisture barrier that is breathable and chemical resistant. The Protector Prime is highly abrasion resistant with a fleece mid-layer, optimized climate comfort for all seasons and excessive use.
