The Pulaski (named after its inventor, legendary US Forest Service firefighter Ed Pulaski) is a wildland firefighting tool that combines an axe and an adze. It is an extremely versatile tool that can cut, scrape, grub, or dig.
It's excellent for building trails and other tasks that require manual disturbance of the soil. The axe has a 3.5 lb head with 36" hickory or fibreglass handle.
