Here are some frequently asked questions regarding this update...
What changed with the Rope Runner Vertec?
We made a small refinement to the lower attachment point to improve the tending experience based on real-world feedback from arborists. We’ve extended the bridge attachment point to accommodate for larger diameter ropes as well as larger carabiner profiles The core performance, smooth modulation, and tool-free adjustability remain the same.
Is this a completely new model or a better version?
No, this is not a new model or a superior versioni - it’s the same trusted Rope Runner Vertec with a minor update for improved ease of use.
Do all Rope Runner Vertec’s need to be replaced?
No. This is not a recall. Arborists who use smaller ropes, or smaller profile carabiners will not notice any change with this updated component. This change only affects climbers who use larger diameter ropes and carabiners who have experienced some challenges with tending and modulation. Now, with this new friction body kit, they can experience the same smooth tending and modulation as those using smaller ropes.
Does this cost extra?
