Formerly Canadian Forestry Equipment (CFE), established in 1966, the company's primary focus was the forestry industry. Over time, we began to expand into arboriculture, mineral exploration, and environmental engineering.
CFE was purchased by Commercial Solutions in 2002. In 2010, they decided to sell the Ontario branch, which was purchased, renamed The Arborist Store (formerly Universal Field Supplies). The Arborist Store remains a Canadian provider of professional quality gear. While most companies throw themselves at many different sectors for quick returns, we pride ourselves on offering products that are tailored to a select number of industries. This allows us to provide a focused and personal approach that takes care of the specialized needs of our clients.
In early 2017, The Arborist Store expanded our operations by opening a second location in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia in order to better serve our customers in Western Canada.
